Blackmon is facing potential prison time when he is sentenced in June, according to the report.

The controversial wide receiver was arrested Dec. 19 in his hometown of Ardmore, Okla., despite telling police he had consumed only two drinks before getting behind the wheel. It was his second arrest since being indefinitely suspended from the NFL.

Blackmon, the fifth overall pick in the 2012 draft, hasn’t played in the NFL since 2013. He showed promise as a rookie, catching 64 passes for 865 yards. But his success was short-lived, as he was suspended after playing just four games for violating the league’s substance-abuse policy.

Blackmon was eligible for reinstatement before the 2014 season but was denied after being arrested at a traffic stop for possession of marijuana. He was again eligible for reinstatement before the 2015 season but was denied.
