With the draft in the books, the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook has posted a series of NFL wagering options, including season win totals, odds to win each division and Games of the year.

There are five teams posted with double-digit wins for next season: the Seahawks, Packers, Colts, Patriots and Broncos.  Nothing too surprising about this group.

The Broncos, though, open with a win total of 10, which marks a projected two-game decline from last season.  The Cowboys also won 12 games last season and open at the Westgate with a win total of 9.5.

A trio of last season’s 11-win teams are posted at 8.5 wins for this season – the Steelers, Lions and Cardinals.  Three six-win teams are projected to improve to eight this season – the Giants, Falcons and Rams.

The Jets’ season win total of seven sort of jumps off the page, especially since OVER bettors have to lay a hefty price of -140.  New York, by most accounts, had an excellent draft, but the AFC East figures to be tough.

The Bucs and Titans, who came away with Jameis Winston and Marcus Mariota with the first and second overall picks, respectively, are projected to improve, obviously, from their dismal two-win seasons last year.

A caveat before you wager on too many OVERs on season win totals: While there are 262.5 combined projected wins on the Westgate’s board, there are only 256 games in the NFL season.  Bookmakers, you see, know the public’s tendency is to bet OVER, so the value is necessarily weighted to the UNDERs overall.

With division odds posted at the Westgate, the NFC South is as tight as can be, with three teams (Panthers, Saints and Falcons) listed at 9-to-5 odds to win it.  The NFC North also features three teams the SuperBook gives solid chances of coming out on top – the Ravens get the nod as 8-to-5 favorites, but the Steelers and Bengals are peering over Baltimore’s shoulder, each listed at 2-to-1.

Multiple divisions have heavy favorites, as the Broncos, Colts, Patriots, Packers and Seahawks are all-odds to take their respective groups.
