This is not the first Smash Bros. Ultimate leak for the next DLC character, but this leak seems credible due to the number of details provided. However, these details are still unconfirmed rumors and must be taken with a grain of salt.

The extensive leak reveals a lot of information about a supposed Nintendo Direct coming on November 13th, but the most information is on Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. According to the leak, the Direct will reveal Crash Bandicoot as the final fighter for the first Fighters Pass, with a release window of December. This is not the first leak that mentions Crash Bandicoot coming to Ultimate, and the mascot is a popular choice as a fighter pick. The Direct will also hint at but not reveal the first fighter for the Fighters Pass 2, who according to the leaker is set to be Ryu Hayabusa of Ninja Gaiden fame.

The rumored November Direct will reveal more than just these two characters, though. A special Minecraft DLC will also be revealed. Costing $5 and separate from the Fighters Passes, this DLC will include a Minecraft stage, new music, a Mii Fighter costume, and even a Creeper Assist Trophy. Other Mii costumes are also announced, most of them being SNK characters that will release along Terry Bogard. The Direct will also add Terry to the action and release him the same day as the Direct.

Again, all of this needs to be taken with a grain of salt. There is no evidence that these claims are accurate, but there have been accurate Nintendo leaks from 4chan in the past, so it can’t be outright ignored.

Regardless, Nintendo will probably announce another Direct in the next month or so. Excited players will have to wait until then to see if the rumors are true. After all, maybe it’ll be one of the many other characters players are pining for in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is available now on the Switch.
