As found in the pictures below, it looks as though the final character art to be used for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has made its way online, with the blurry shot of the promotional wares supposedly showing the likes of Shadow the Hedgehog, Banjo-Kazooie, Isaac from the Golden Sun series, Ken from Street Fighter, Mach Rider, the Chorus Kids, and Geno. Apparently, the one who shared the initial image seems to be employed by a French print company that specializes in manufacturing cutouts and banners for media advertising.

While it’s safe to presume that news of the aforementioned characters coming to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will excite most, if not all fans–particularly with Super Mario RPG’s Geno being a possibility–it’s best to take this information with a grain of salt. After all, with Nintendo having yet to officially acknowledge that the fighting game will include these figures, there’s always the chance that these images could be an elaborate fake.

At any rate, if these seven new characters join the fold in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, then it would only grow what was already the largest roster in the franchise’s history, as Nintendo has already promised to include every single playable fighter that has made an appearance in the series. Nevertheless, there’s no doubt that most, if not all fans would welcome even more brawlers to the game with open arms should that be what the Big N has in mind.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is scheduled to launch on December 7, 2018 for Nintendo Switch.
