The highlight match of the day was definitely the one featuring Kidambi Srikanth, the 2016 Champion against Parupalli Kashyap, who has been a two-time Champion here too. In what was their fourth career meeting, Srikanth looked determined to level their head-to-head record and got the better off Kashyap in three grueling games. The World No. 12 emerged as the better player at 18-21, 22-20, 21-16 and sent Kashyap crashing out of the tournament....

Nintendo made some of Metroid Dread’s characters as limited-time Spirits this past October to celebrate the game’s release. The spirits included were Samus in her Power Suit, an E.M.M.I, and a Chozo Soldier, with players only having five days to acquire them. For the uninitiated, Spirits are Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’s major collectible, being embodiments of every franchise’s characters as Ultimate’s fighters. Spirits can be attained by fighting them on the Spirit Board, or purchasing them in the Shop, but with over 1,000 of them out there, it’s going to take a while to collect them all....

Originally, it was believed that the new ARMS fighter in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate would be Spring Man, as he is often considered the protagonist of the series, but Min Min won out nonetheless. The Court is expected to hear legal arguments this March, according to NBC News, and a ruling would be due by the end of June. Trump filed appeals against three sets of subpoenas for his financial records, and the Court agreed to hear all of them. The subpoenas in question were not filed against Trump himself, but against accountants and bankers the president has worked with. “We are pleased that the Supreme Court granted review of the President’s three pending cases,” said Trump lawyer Jay Sekulow in a statement....
